A year ago, we featured the Saucony Shay XC2 Shoes; this year, we now have the Saucony Shay XC3! Check it out:

Saucony Shay XC 3 Shoes in Vizipro/Black/Citron, $79.95

Design-wise, you can instantly tell that this successor to the Saucony Shay XC 2 is a lot different as it is much more modern and stylish. Specs-wise, of course, this is also a lot better; it’s the successor after all.

This is lightweight and flexible, which are two things that a lot of runners and track and field athletes are looking for in a shoe; thanks to its lightweight synthetic and ripstop nylon mesh material. Aside from that this also has Flex Film overlays, which are made of thin films that’s welded throughout the upper for secure fit.

This then has premium sockliner for lasting comfort, plus it also has SSL (Saucony Super Lite) midsole, which is the brand’s premium material that helps maximize the rebound and durability while also minimizing weight.

Under this shoe is the XT-600 carbon rubber outsole, which offers abrasion-resistance and traction on a variety of surfaces. Along with this are the six pin spikes that should provide optimal under-foot traction.
